Dream Theater "Lost Not Forgotten Archives: The Majesty Demos (1985-1986)" is the sixth official bootleg from Dream Theater, the king of progressive metal. Dream Theater, the kings of progressive metal, began releasing the "Lost Not Forgotten Archives" series of official bootlegs of live performances, demos, studio outtakes, and other treasured recordings in June 2021. The sixth in the series is "The Majesty Demos (1985-1986)," a collection of pre-debut demo recordings. The Majesty Demos (1985-1986)" is the sixth in the series, and is a collection of pre-debut demos recorded before the band's debut. The demo tapes were produced around the time when the band started to play live shows mainly in the East Coast. Among them, "The Majesty Demos 1986", which contains 6 songs from the Majesty era, is a memorable collection of demos that opened the way to their debut, as 1,000 cassettes produced at the time were sold out, and they were circulated in the progressive metal scene and gained a good reputation. It can be said that this is the starting point of their career.The Berklee Demos 1985-1986," 17 songs produced before that, include tracks before they became songs with vocals, unfinished guitar-only songs, a cover of the beloved Rush, and playful, momentous material such as "John's idea of his Randy (Rose) song" and "Mike's idea of his song introduction song by Dee Dee Ramone. Mike's idea of his Randy (Rose) song" and "Dee Dee Ramone's introduction to the song" are also included. The album was previously released in limited production on their own Ytsejam Records label (Ytsejam = Majesty spelled backwards), and is now being reissued in a long-awaited reissue with new artwork and a newly edited and mastered version.
