The Neuvirth family has always been a family of musicians, and the composer Olga Neuvirth, who has attracted much attention in recent years, is his daughter. As a teacher of composition, he has taught Bernard Lang, Isabelle Mundry, Friedrich Haas, and many others. This disc contains a wide variety of his own works over a fairly wide period of time. Sinfonietta is an expressionist work in the style of Berg, while "Disappearance" for voice and tape is experimental music.
