In a spaceship that had been in suspended animation for 120 years and was scheduled to be convoyed to a colony destination, one man and one woman were somehow awakened 90 years early...... original by Prometheus screenwriter John Spaeth, directed by up-and-coming Scandinavian director Morten Tyldum. Film adaptation. The music is by maestro Thomas Newman, but this is new. The sound is a developmental evolution of the non-melodic and tonal score that Newman himself is a great master of, but the beauty of the hard sound is revealed by the fusion of the magnificent orchestra and the various instrumental tones. The melody is not completely negated, and although it is slightly audible in some parts, the score is so precisely calculated that it is possible to enjoy the glittering beauty of the non-melody.
