While his works are certainly challenging, this is simply because he incorporates every conceivable aspect of the world into his compositions and meticulously organizes this vast amount of information. This NAXOS String Quartet is both a work commissioned by Naxos and the composer’s life’s work. His unique sonic world—in which astrology, painting, world affairs, and the myriad things that have inspired him are projected—is a solitary realm that demands the listener to turn their attention inward.
