Original Sufferhead" will be a full-length 25:24 release, restored to its original length, with some of the material that was cut from previous reissues. Original Sufferhead was Fela's first album released under the name Egypt 80 (he had disbanded Afrika 70 in 1979). The title track describes the inhuman treatment and poor living conditions experienced by working-class Nigerians, from the personal to the political. In "Power Show," he sings about the two-tier structure that divides Nigerian society.
