OleGunnar Nilssen is a Norwegian guitarist and vocalist who was also a member of the band SOLARIS, which released its only album "MISTY MORNING" in 1977, a folk/country rock album with a mild Scandinavian sentiment.The first solo debut album of the short-lived Norwegian record label Apollo, released in 1976, was reissued on CD in '22 by Norway's Norske Albumklassikere in a newly remastered and digisleeved version! The album can be broadly described as soft to melodic rock featuring the band's own delicate yet emotionally rich vocals, but the solo guitar and saxophone work in the second half of the title track, the drum playing with a fine touch, and the acoustic piano that appears at key moments to tighten up the ensemble, make the album a strictly sweet and melodic rock album. The master is newly remastered by Giert Claussen, the engineer who handles all of the label's releases.
