FORAGER RECORDS, which always compiles a wonderful selection of independent soft rock and soft psychedelic albums, is proud to present its newest release! This new release continues the trend of soulful AOR, funky folk, and shady soft rock. This compilation, which follows the previous release "SKY DUST DRIFTER," is a collection of odd and rare American private pressings from the 70s and 80s, all of which have been officially reissued for the first time on this album. The best part is the folky pre-AOR number "It's Never Too Late" that opens the album. It's a gem of a song that gives you a vivid breeze as if you were hearing Ned Doheny's "Hard Candy" for the first time (nice Vibras rap, too!). ). This song alone is a buy...but it doesn't end there, FORAGER.The same West Coast breeziness is heard in "Start It All Over Again," "Forever Gamblin' On You," with its hard-hitting Latin flavored guitars, and "Feeling The Fire," which finds a lighter, so-called CITY POP feel. (The use of the tetsuzin is very clever!). Good Guy," a folky psychedelic "Good Guy" on the beach with a morning glow or sunset...the list goes on and on. This is a great album for club use, and will definitely be one to watch in 2024.
