Anna Zybleva (Piano) Anna Zybleva won the 4th prize at the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition in 2012, the 1st prize at the Emile Girellis Memorial International Piano Competition in Odessa in 2013, the 4th prize at the Takamatsu International Piano Competition in 2014, and finally won the Leeds International Piano Competition, one of the world's top piano competitions in 2015. Born and raised in Russia (a small town in the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia on the Georgian border) in 1990, she graduated from the Shostakovich Conservatory in Bolgodonsk, and studied at the Moscow Conservatory and the Basel Conservatory. In 2021, he will release his debut solo album "Brahms: Piano Concerto No. 2" (CHRCD131) on Signum Classics. Concerto No. 2" (SIGCD674) on Signum Classics to critical acclaim. On her second new album for Signum, Zybreeva recorded Debussy's complete 24 Preludes for solo piano, and was completely enchanted by her mother's performance of "The Maiden with Flaxen Hair" when she was five years old, and "fell in love with it for life.But the road to Debussy was not always a smooth one, and it took a long struggle to figure out how to express on the piano the wind, the light, the ship's signal, the splash of water, and the singing of Ondine, how to interpret the written score, and thanks to long struggles and research and beloved teachers (Ludmila Roshchina, Claudio Martinez and others), I was able to express the magic of Debussy's music.
