A Christmas album of Patrick Hawes' compositions! Patrick Hawes, one of Britain's most popular contemporary composers, has teamed up with the outstanding chamber choir Voche from Connecticut, USA, to create an album of 20 new Christmas choral works. The album's title piece, "The Neativity," written for the choir, depicts the birth of Christ and was written by Patrick Hawes' brother, the poet Andreu. He has also composed "Four Christmas Motets" based on ancient poems, using texts from all periods of time, from antiquity to the present. Tokyo M-Plus
