That is the rare and previously unreleased live album "CHICAGO AT THE JOHN F. KENNEDY CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS," which was recorded at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. on September 16, 1971. Chicago was one of the first groups to perform at the venue, which had just opened in September 1971, and its exciting performance was recorded by Lee Rocknane, one of Chicago's founding members and the band's trumpeter, and engineer Tim Jessup, who was also a member of the band. Engineer Tim Jessup has remixed the original multi-track tapes and made them available to fans around the world for the first time. This rare and previously unreleased live album will be released in two formats: a 3-CD set and a 4-CD analog set.The 26 live recordings included here were recorded on September 16, 1971, one week after the opening of The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., the nation's capital. The recording was made on September 16, 1971, one week after the opening of the John F.
