This is a reissue of the 2-CD analog edition with all 18 tracks that was released last summer and sold out immediately worldwide! The Talking Heads were a N.Y. intelligence band led by David Byrne that had a very strong impact in the 80's. The Talking Heads are now being reissued on vinyl.This year marks the 40th anniversary of the release of "Stop Making Sens," a legendary music film and top-notch live entertainment film that compiles their high-impact stage performances into a film with director Jonathan Demme, as well as the 40th anniversary of the release of the film's soundtrack. This year also marks the 40th anniversary of the release of the film's soundtrack.To celebrate this anniversary year, the soundtrack is now available in a deluxe edition containing all 18 songs from the film! Prior to the 40th anniversary of the film's release this year, a 2-CD analog edition was released last summer as a complete version with 2 additional songs that were not included in the soundtrack at the time, and it sold out immediately worldwide. The deluxe edition of the album will be released as a 2CD+Blu-ray edition and a 2-CD analog edition.The original soundtrack released in 1984 contained 9 songs, and a special new edition with 16 songs was released in 1999, which included other songs from the film. The deluxe edition includes 18 songs in total, including "Cities" and "Big Business / I Zimbra," two songs that were used in the film but were not included in the original recording.The 2CD+Blu-ray edition also includes a re-sized version of the 28-page booklet that was included in the 2-CD analog edition released last year, which features liner notes by four members, Tina Weymouth, David Byrne, Chris Frantz, and Jerry Harrison, as well as rare photos from that time. A resized version of the booklet is included in the package, and the newly released 2-CD analog version includes a 12-page booklet with liner notes by each member. (1/3)
