Liana Flores is a British-Brazilian singer/songwriter whose songs from her indie days have received over 400 million views on Spotify. Written and recorded after Liana completed her zoology degree at the University of St. Andrews, this album contains elements of British folk, classical jazz, Brazilian pop, and more, and is a work that is typical of Liana Flores, a singular talent who is constantly exploring change. She clearly expresses her artistic intentions and draws the listener into her world, portraying nature, fantasy, love, and loss with crystal clear vocals. Noah Georgeson co-produced the album with Liana while also serving as mixer.The musicians include Chris Behr on percussion, Brazilian music maestro Jaquith Morelenbaum, who has participated in Ryuichi Sakamoto's works, and Chin Bernardes, who has built his own style based on traditional Brazilian music. About the album, Liana says, "'Flower of the Soul' wanders through a variety of stylistic influences, from sunshine pop to bossa nova to 60's psychedelic folk, evoking the changing seasons of life and nature, and the core emotions that consistently persist within them, so to speak. I imagined that "Night Visions" would be my favorite. Night Visions was influenced by the Gothic romance world I love so much. I used vampire love stories to explore the transformative power of love. He said. Liana Flores grew up in the countryside of South Norfolk, England. In her late teens, she fell in love with bossa nova and picked up the guitar.Liana began to combine imaginative lyricism drawn from nature, fantasy, and her own stories with widely influenced music. The result is a hot newcomer whose indie-era song "rises the moon" became a viral hit, especially on TikTok, and led to her signing with Verve Records.
