The '81 solo album from Wifon, Poland, by the famous keyboardist/bass player known as the musical leader of SBB, a Polish band representing the progressive rock scene in Eastern Europe, was reissued on CD in '25 by GAD Records in Poland! This album was originally made in the summer of 1980 for the SBB album, but the band had already disbanded by the time it was completed, so it was released under his solo name. As mentioned above, Apostolis Anthimos (b), Jerzy Piotrowski (drs), and other SBB members participated in this album, as well as his brother Jan Skrzek (harmonica), and Jozef, who composed/performed most of the music on the two albums "GEIRA" and "OGROD LUIZY". The album is a collection of vocal-oriented music that differs from the SBB's musicality at the time, backed by old acquaintances such as his brother Jan Skrzek (harmonica), Halina Frackowiak (vo), a female singer who composed/performed the majority of Jozef's two albums "GEIRA" and "OGROD LUIZY", and Tomasz Szukalski (sax/cla).In addition to the symphonic sound that the band is known for, jazz funk and AOR-like arrangements similar to the aforementioned "GEIRA" were introduced in a big way, and all the vocals were written in English, which was unusual at the time. The album is an excellent work, with melancholy and sorrowful songs and delicate and lyrical melodies/arrangements, and you can feel the budding musicality that would later lead to various works in the 80s/90s! The master is a newly remastered sound source. Bonus tracks include demo/alternate versions of songs from this album, writing session recordings, and six additional tracks never before released on this album.
