The memorable 1969 debut album by Humble Pie, a supergroup formed by Steve Marriott (ex-Small Faces), Peter Frampton (ex-The Hard), Greg Ridley (ex-Spooky Tooth), and others. The critically acclaimed album was a fusion of hard rock, blues, acoustic, and folk, but the sound quality was unsatisfactory in some areas. The original tapes, missing for 50 years, have been newly remastered for this reissue in their original sound quality, supervised by Peter Frampton and Jerry Shirley. The original tracks, including the hit single "Natural Born Bugie," are included, along with the UK LP track "Growing Closer," four studio outtakes, and the B-side of the single "Wrist Job.The 24-page fully illustrated booklet includes Gerred Mankowitz's award-winning jacket and full lyrics, plus exclusive comments by Jerry Shirley and commentary by reissue producer Rob Cager.
