James—better known as Aphex Twin—is set for a reissue in special packaging to commemorate its 25th anniversary! For the first time, a 4-LP set in standard packaging will be available. Additionally, exclusively for Japan, a strictly limited-edition 2-CD box set (in high-quality UHQCD format) will be released, recreating the original 4-LP box set in miniature form. Featuring 30 tracks totaling approximately 100 minutes, this album interweaves the ferocious sounds of drill 'n' bass and noise electronics with delicate piano pieces reminiscent of Erik Satie. It continues to be highly acclaimed as a landmark of 21st-century electronic music, where experimental spirit and overwhelming beauty coexist. The collection features tracks where intensely experimental electronic music coexists with serene melodies, including the classic “Avril14th,” which was later sampled by Kanye West.
