The second album from Icelandic SSW multi-instrumentalist Laufey, a rising star in the modern jazz/pop scene! Born in Iceland in 1999, she grew up listening to Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday under the influence of her father, and at the age of 15, while performing as a cello soloist with the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra, she was selected as a finalist in a talent search TV show. He attended Berkeley College of Music, where he released "Street by Street" in 2020, which debuted at #1 on Icelandic radio. In 2021, he released the EP "Typical of Me," which received critical acclaim from The Rolling Stones and American Songwriter, the most prestigious music magazine in the US. The EP also received praise and buzz from up-and-coming artists of the same generation, such as Billie Eillish and Willow Smith.Their long-awaited first full-length album, "Everything I Know About Love," released in 2022, was highly acclaimed from all quarters for its sound that blends gentrified, classical jazz with a unique pop-ness. Then in 2023, about a year after the previous album, they released their second full-length album, "Bewitched".
