This time, the duo wanted to incorporate a greater variety of voices into the album.In addition to rapper Eric the Architect (Flatbush Zombies), who participated in the preceding single, the album also features Bas (known for his previous track "Romeo" and collaboration with FKJ), UK's leading MC, Roots Manuva, Compton-born artist/producer, The album features the likes of Channel Torres, an up-and-coming singer/songwriter from Compton, and JNR Williams. The cover of VOLCANO continues the minimalist aesthetic of the debut album, with the unit's name logo at the center of the cover and a bright, vibrant summer-inspired background that reflects the album's sound style.
