Moja i Twoja Nadzieja/Originally composed by Piotr Banaf:Hope for me and for you [Performed by. Yakub Yuzhev Orlinski (Countertenor) Wojciech Guminski (bass: double bass, bass guitar, moog) Marcin Uwanowski(drums) Madison Noah (soprano:10) Aleksandr Dembich(piano/arrangement) Recording August 28-September 1, 2023: Church Studios, London October 19, 2023: Warsaw, Studio 4/6 This album 《#LetsBaRock》is a new and surprising art project by "Jakub Jozef Orlinski", a countertenor who is at the peak of his popularity around the world, and "Alexandre Dembich", a pianist who has been talked about for his new attempts from classical to jazz, creating "cover versions" of music from the Baroque era. The idea is to create a new and surprising art project that will take root in the 21st century. Their newly created Baroque music sounds decidedly modern, but retains its character even if the accents are slightly altered. For example, "Oblivion," based on Monteverdi's "All in Peace and Forgetting" from "The Crowning of Poppea," remains a kind of lullaby, but is equipped with the qualities of a trance-like dreamy club track. Joining us this time around is Marcin Wojnowski (drums) and Wojciech Gminski (bass), two great musicians from the Polish pop scene, who worked together to develop the unique sound of "New Baroque". Aleksandr Dembich is in charge of the arrangements and features three original compositions. The repertoire includes popular pieces by Purcell, Monteverdi, Vivaldi, and Handel. (Warner Music)
