Mysterious poetry readings and inorganic drum machines intermingle in this 80s electric jazz! This is a miraculous reissue on CD of a very rare album that deep collectors have been searching for a long time but could not find due to the small number of pressings. Recorded at the home studio of Dennis Matthews (Abdur Razzaq in the album credit) during Ramadan in 1982, this album has been sought after by deep collectors for many years due to the small number of pressings, but now, after 40 years, the long-awaited reissue has finally come true! The spiritual and message poetry reading by poet Rafiyq, the inorganic beat of the Roland CR-78, and the mellow leads of the Fender Rhodes and Minimoog are intertwined on the loop of the electric jazz and rhythm machine that has been evolving at an accelerated pace since the 80's. It is an uncategorizable sound like hip-hop that evolves on the loop of the rhythm machine. The Night of Power" (M1) is a massive 30+ minute song, followed by the instrumental "Reflections From The Grave" (M2), an obscure song that transcends time and space! Remastered from the original master tapes and including commentary by Dennis Matthews himself, this is the world's first reissue of the CD version following the LP reissue!
