Debut album by Paris-based Japanese pianist/composer Kouki Nakano, born in 1988. This is his first album as a duo with world-renowned cellist Vincent Segal! In this album, all original compositions by Nakano, their piano and cello intertwine gracefully at times, and at other times they run side by side powerfully, as if competing with each other. This is a full-length work that combines classical and avant-garde, intelligence and dynamism. Released on the excellent French label "NO FORMAT!", known for Gonzalez's "Piano Solo" and others.
