A small encounter, the beginning of summer. The movie version "Mr. Takagi the teasing friend" is now on sale on DVD! --At a junior high school, a boy named Nishikata is teased by a girl named Ms. Takagi who is sitting next to him. Nishikata tries to somehow tease Ms. Takagi back, but she always sees right through him. The seasons change, and the two move on to the third grade.People around them begin to think about the future, and while there is a mixture of anxiety and anticipation, the distance between Takagi-san and Nishikata remains the same. The day before summer vacation began, they happened to meet a tiny kitten on their way home. They named her "Hana" and decided to take care of her until they found her mother cat in the precincts of a shrine.... The two spend their time watching over Hana, who gradually grows to like them.The days of midsummer, filled with happiness brought about by a small encounter, nurture new feelings.
