Tears Of Tragedy
Description:
[Domestic release] [Released December 7, 2016 Tears of Tragedy is a melodic metal band based in Tokyo. Their second album released in 2013 created a unique metal sound, a fusion of melody and metal that only Japanese could create, and received great acclaim from the music industry and various metal media, recording unusually strong sales for an indie band. They have also built up a large fan base through their steady live performances, including their first sold-out one-man show. Although based in the melodic speed metal scene, Tears of Tragedy is a band with a unique metal sound that actively reflects influences from J-POP/J-ROCK, and has a strong individuality that sets them apart from the rest. The band's greatest strength lies in their music, which makes the most of Haruka's easy-to-recognize, clear voice and sophisticated, elegant, and sad melodies, while also incorporating elements of metal into their fast-paced numbers and high-speed tunes.TORU and HAYATO, the band's two melody makers, are responsible for the composition and arrangement of the band's music, which is based on the belief that melodies derived from Japanese music should be actively integrated into metal music. TORU is also a guitarist of THOUSAND EYES, and is now recognized among Japanese metal listeners as a representative of Japanese metal guitarists. This new album is a clean work that focuses on making the listener listen to the songs while maintaining an overwhelming metal sound that will make even the most discerning of metal fans groan. The sad and fragile melodies that are constantly being played out, combined with the Japanese lyrics, will grab the listener's hearts. The album begins with a dramatic opening soundtrack, and then surges forward to the midpoint of the album. The lineup includes their signature high-speed metal tunes, and Tears' verses are exploding. The band even stands by for a 13-minute-plus epic, which has become a staple of the band. The album also features a ballad that makes full use of Haruka's singing ability. He has experience performing acoustic sessions with one of TORU's acoustic guitars and HARUKA, and his abilities are showcased in this album.
