WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM is one of the most popular and best-selling black metal bands in North America and Europe, and their latest album is a literal epic that is linked to the previous canonical work by the PNW, now a major force in mystical black metal. The band has released seven studio albums to date, all of which are based on the themes of reverence for the natural world and alarm against excessive civilization, while maintaining a sound style of blast beats and tremolo riffs, but without the evil of devil worship. Each album is mysterious and dramatic, with long compositions and worldviews created with exceptional compositional skills. This EP is a follow-up to their most recent work, "Primordial Arcana" (2021), and should be called a series of albums. In addition to the mastermind Weaver brothers, this time Cedar Serpent, a member of the band since its inception, joins the band for the first time in many years. The EP is a literal epic spun with deeper insights and explorations. The previously released EP "Malevolent Grain" (2009) showed a new direction as well as the canonical album, so it cannot be underestimated as a small work.
