Ai Kuwabara's "Now and Future." Ai Kuwabara's 10th album (including special editions) and first full-length solo piano album since her debut in 2012, which made an impact on the jazz scene. The album features mainly covers of classic songs that transcend the boundaries of genres and bring out the full range of his rich expressive abilities. While taking a bird's-eye view of his career to date, this album also foreshadows the future of his career as a pianist, as he breaks new ground as a pianist. Five of the cover songs were recorded by requesting requests from lovers of Ai Kuwabara's music. The five songs were selected by Sid Kafka, Shinosuke Tachikawa, Ikusaburo Yamazaki, President (SOIL & "PIMP" SESSIONS), and Keiichiro Hirano (in the order of recording on the album), and are arranged by Kuwabara. Recorded at the Tokyo Opera City Recital Hall, a hall dedicated to classical concerts, the album is a vacuum-packed recording of Kuwabara's performance, which was created after three days of confrontation with the piano on stage and its wonderful resonance. The album cover features a work by renowned Dutch photographer Helen van Meene, which was taken in Russia more than 10 years ago, and expresses the depth of the world of the work.SHM-CD specification.
