Pirates on the verge of extinction - a new world in danger of extinction! In the latter half of the Great Voyage, a group of pirates with an eerie symbol boarded an island in the New World. The ringleader is a former navy general, Zed, who calls himself the NEO Navy, and their objective is to steal Dyna Rock, a mineral with enormous energy said to be comparable to an ancient weapon. When Zedd and his subordinate Ein Binz succeed in capturing the Dyna Rock, Zedd's grand plan to eliminate all pirates and shake the New World is set in motion... Meanwhile, the Straw Hat crew is moving forward in the New World at a brisk pace. Suddenly, Zedd appears, covered in wounds and drifting about, with a large weapon attached to his right arm. Wary of the oddly shaped weapon, Luffy and the others take Zedd into their arms.However, when Zetto regained consciousness and realized that Luffy and the others were pirates, he attacked them without hesitation. Luffy and his men counterattack, but they are overwhelmed by the onslaught, which is filled with hatred for pirates, and the Sunny is half destroyed.
