Announced as one of the titles of the "Young Musicians of Korea" series in 2019 planned by KBS (Korea Broadcasting System), a public broadcasting station in Korea, is the debut album by the original members of the Esme String Quartet, a quartet that has attracted worldwide attention, recorded in 2019. The album is the debut album by the original members of the Esmé String Quartet. A domestic edition will also be released with a new Japanese translation of the commentary enclosed. The Esmé String Quartet was formed in 2016 by four female Korean players (and all four were childhood friends) who were studying at the Cologne College of Music in Germany. The quartet also won all four special prizes. Moreover, as the first ever winner of an ensemble composed entirely of Korean performers, the quartet created a sensation. The ESME String Quartet has already demonstrated its ability as a world-class quartet since its debut program recorded by KBS in 2019, which featured Schubert's "Death and the Maiden". With the viola being replaced by a new member in April 2023, the debut recording by the original members will once again attract attention. Tokyo M-Plus
