The horn means "horn of an animal. Its origins as a musical instrument can be traced back to the 6th century BC. In the Scandinavian peninsula, bronze instruments were used as battlefield signals from ancient times, and a hunting instrument called the "corno da caccia" was also used for hunting. This was a simple instrument with a bell attached to the end of a coiled cylindrical tube, used to signal to one's companions on horseback that a prey had been found. It developed mainly in France and was adopted by orchestras in the 17th and 18th centuries, and the development of valves made it possible to adjust the pitch of the instrument, a development that has continued to the present day. This album features a variety of works featuring horns from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods, allowing the listener to fully enjoy the instrument's magnificent and magnificent sound.
