Description:

The first release from the new BRAVO Records label! Live recordings of penetrating intelligence and fresh sensibility! Atsuko Sawara and Takehiko Yamada perform Poulenc's Violin Sonatas! The first release on the new BRAVO Records label is a live recording by Atsuko Sawara on violin and Takehiko Yamada on piano! In addition to well-known pieces by Poulenc and Beethoven, the album also includes the unaccompanied works of Dutch composer Julius Lentchen, whom Sawara herself has been pursuing for many years. With the best pianist in the world, Takehiko Yamada, as her performing partner, Atsuko Sawara's fresh wings of creativity will fly freely! This is the long-awaited new recording of Atsuko Sawara, the proud violinist of Japan. "This is the long-awaited new recording of Atsuko Sawara, the proud violinist of Japan, with her solid playing technique and exciting propulsive force that continuously uplifts and spins the music. We had the pleasure of playing with her in the esprit de corps Poulenc, the supreme masterpieces, and Beethoven's sonatas, and we were happy to share the dazzling sharpness and rich musicality of the music. And the Dutch Lentchen, full of romanticism - a gem of repertoire that Atsuko Sawara has been working on for many years. This recording captures the moment when the lively performance is born, bringing Ms. Sawara's beautiful music close to us." Takehiko Yamada (from the liner notes)Atsuko SawaraAtsuko Sawara graduated from the Music High School attached to the Faculty of Music of Tokyo University of the Arts, and from Tokyo University of the Arts, where she completed her graduate studies in violin.
