SKANI, the independent label of the Latvian Music Information Center (LMIC), presents the 25th anniversary album of Kremerata Baltica, a world-class ensemble founded by Gidon Kremer, a violin virtuoso from Riga, Latvia! In 1997, at the age of 50, Kremer gathered young musicians from the Baltic countries to form Kremerata Baltica, which has since performed in over 600 cities in more than 50 countries, giving a total of over 1,000 concerts. Since then, the ensemble has performed in over 600 cities in more than 50 countries, giving more than 1,000 concerts. The ensemble has performed with renowned musicians in many cities and has been invited to the BBC Proms and is considered one of the most prominent ensembles in Europe. The ensemble's recording activities include a Grammy Award for "After Mozart" in 2002, the ECHO Klassik 2016, and the Gramophone Award 2020, to name just a few.Even though the various restrictions of COVID-19 made it impossible to hold concerts and meetings as usual, the members living in Lithuania continued to perform in Lithuania as "Kremerata Litoanika" and the members living in Latvia as "Kremerata Letnika" in Latvia and Estonia to bring joy to the people. The members who live in Latvia have been performing in Latvia and Estonia as "Kremerata Letnika" to bring joy to the people. Now they have completed a wonderful 25th anniversary album featuring world premiere recordings of works by three of the most creative composers from their homeland, Latvia. Upon the release of this album, Kremer said, "We hope that these works will inspire listeners and that this music will be a step into the future of Kremerata Baltica." He said. Tokyo M-Plus
