The Byrds

Description:

The Byrds' 1965, early masterpiece album in a collection of alternate versions! Sparkling 12-string guitars! Brilliant studio work! Including the making of "Mr. Tambourine Man" from Eternal Grooves' "ROCK OFF" series! The original American Folk Rock! Rare and exclusive recordings from The Byrds' 1965 Hollywood studio sessions for their first album "Mr. Tamblyn Man" and second album "Turn Turn Turn" featuring 12-string guitar wizard Roger McGuinn, a gifted songwriter and songwriter, and the band's first-ever recording session for "Mr. Tamblyn Man". Gene Clark, a gifted songwriter. David Crosby, who later formed CSNY and became a legend of West Coast rock. Chris Hillman, a legend with the Flying Burrito Brothers and Manassas. The Byrds gave birth to such future rock legends. The legend began on January 20, 1965 with the recording of "Mr. Tamblyn Man," which only Roger McGuinn, who played 12-string electric guitar, was allowed to participate in the performance, and the band members added their vocals to the backing music of Hal Blaine (drums) and Leon Russell (kd) to complete "Mr. Tamblyn Man. The band members added their vocals to the backing of Hal Blaine (drums) and Leon Russell (kd). Three months later, however, the band members played well for the recording of the album, showing their growth and maturity. Seven alternate versions of songs from these sessions are included, including the classic "I'll Feel a Whole Lot Better," "The Bells Of Rhymney," which is used in The Beatles' "If You're In Love," and "It's No Use. From the recording of the second album, eight different versions from the sessions of the performance tracks before the songs were sung are included, which are different from the official takes. These are all interesting takes from the various takes that were layered before the finished versions. The "Stranger in a Stranger Land" by Crosby, which is said to be a phantom song, is a historical number that led to later psychedelic rock songs such as "Eight Miles High" (Eight Miles of Fog), and is included here in an early take that begins as a jam session. Finally, four takes from the "Mr. Tambourine Man" recording session are included, with producer Terry Melcher stopping the performance at take 1, and snare rolls and voice counts that appear to be Hal Blaine's before take 2. The warmth of the backing musicians - the Wrecking Crew, who were heavily used by Phil Spector and the Beach Boys - is also very impressive. When the Byrds' vocal harmonies are added, the Byrds' sound is instantly apparent. This was a moment in time when folk rock music was born and became a huge boom. This is a wonderful collection of rare recordings of The Byrds, who pioneered American rock music.
