Demo versions of songs provided by the Empress of Turkish pop music are reconstructed! Sezen Aksu is a singer and songwriter who has reigned as the "Empress of Turkish Pop" from the 1970s to the present. Her influence is still evident in the large number of followers she has generated. We have decided to introduce his new work as Sambinha Imports. Sezen Aksu was born in Izmir in 1954 and started his career as a singer/songwriter at the age of 20. He started his career as a singer and songwriter around the age of 20. At first, he did not make much noise, but gradually became popular around 1976, and his second album "Celce" (AYR-612) in 1978 was a big hit and catapulted him to stardom. Celce" is a Turkish word meaning "sparrow," and is also her nickname. After that, she became a royal road player in the music scene, and her name became known not only in her home country but also in other countries, and she collaborated with many famous foreign artists.She is also credited with discovering and nurturing Tarkan, Sertab, and Aşkın Nır Yengi. In this sense, it can be said that the current Turkish pop scene would not have prospered without her. This is her new album, released in 2018, which includes demo versions of songs she has written for other artists, including Sibel Zhan, Ebru Yaşar, Lengin, and others. The album also includes demo versions of songs that he provided to popular female singers such as Sibel Jean, Ebru Yashar, and Rengin over a 20-year period from 1995 to 2015, as well as 'Her Sey Fani' for Tarkan's 2017 album "10" (Rice AYR-5453). Of course, many of these are not the demo recordings themselves that were given to the contributing singers, and the accompaniment, etc., has been dressed up a bit for this album, but the vocals here are taken directly from the demos. Some of them are OK takes of the demos.Therefore, the vocals are not the 'main range singing' usually heard in his solo works, but rather the thin vocals that are intended to be sung by others are impressive, and the songwriter/creator side of his work is greatly highlighted in this album. This work is filled with the charm of Ask, who has created a wide range of songs, not only rock and pop, but also traditional songs. This is a must-listen for fans of the band.
