The second collection of violin works by the late Romantic composer Langó features three works, including two world premiere recordings: Violin Sonata No. 1, written in 1915, is a romantic work filled with passionate ideas that seem to overflow from the young Langó's thoughts. Although it was premiered in 1918, Langó was not satisfied with the performance, so he sealed the work and never performed it again. However, he never abandoned the piece, and in 1945, he revised it to its current form. The French title "Viole" (viola da gamba) was probably a dictionary error, and it is believed that Rango himself intended the sound to be that of a "viola". Andante religioso" was Langó's last violin work. The "Sunday Sonata," which requires organ and orchestra, is a unique piece with unpredictable developments. The violin and piano disappear in the middle of the piece, leaving only the organ and orchestra in the final movement to depict the end of a chaotic world.The final orchestral fury of the piece, which is said to express Rango's anger at modern society, is extremely impressive.
