The first EP "Nothing To Lose" was a smash hit, and now Nectar Woode, an English singer/songwriter of Ghanaian descent, is releasing a 7" limited edition vinyl version of the album. The long-awaited analog version of the long-awaited release is now available! Influenced by crossover soul singers such as Minnie Ruperton and Deniece Williams in the past, Nectar Woode's music has recently been influenced by the music of Erykah Badu, D'Angelo, Lauryn Hill, Cleo Sol, and other genre-crossing artists such as jazz, pop and gospel. Nectar Woode is an up-and-coming SSW based in East London with roots in Ghana, a West African country known for its mellow music scene. Her first EP "Nothing To Loose", released in February of this year, was a smash hit and garnered a lot of attention.The delicate, enveloping harmonies and slow swing of "Waiting" are the hallmarks of this album. For The Best" is euphoric with its colorful melody and organic, soft voice. This is a powerful double-sider of both of these great artists who are sure to make a breakthrough in the future.
