Please judge freely. - Alejandro Gersi, a.k.a. Arca, the genius from ARCA Venezuela, has signed with ARCA and released his long-awaited third album, "Arca"! He has been praised for his talent from early on by Kanye West and Bjork, and has garnered tremendous support from a new generation of artists such as FKA Twigs and Kelela, and is also a renowned producer for FKA Twigs, who participated in Kanye West's "Yeezus" with 5 tracks in 2013 and in 2015. In 2015, he co-produced/co-authored 8 songs on Björk's album "Vulnicura", and has since been a member of the band on their world tour. Longtime collaborator Jesse Kanda also created the artwork for this album.For the first time, he also sings himself, bringing surprisingly rich and delicate melodies amidst a mixture of defiance and fragility as digital sounds and his own piano playing and singing intertwine like folds of skin or a wound healing trauma.
