A look at the inner truth of the works --- a dialogue of souls that transcends time and space, including a re-recording of the "Golteberg Variations" in this rich double-disc set! After two years, Medjieva returns to Bach once again. This is an even more impressive performance of the "Gortberg Variations" than the highly acclaimed "Ryutopia Live" (2012 recording, WAKA-4169). This hall session recording differs greatly from the previous one in that all repeat instructions (even the repeat in the Aria da Capo) are used. The performance time is 79 minutes and 21 seconds. The interpretation, which is meticulously designed with plenty of improvisational elements, is fresh and deep, and the more one listens to it, the more one appreciates it. The more one listens to it, the more one appreciates its freshness and depth. The touch changes in a thousand ways, the tone is rich in color, the lyricism is wavering, the molding is tight, the polyphony is clear, the virtuosity is remarkable in the fast-paced variations, and the spirituality in the slow variations is terrifyingly deep. It is no exaggeration to say that the natural appearance of all these elements is truly the art of Irijin. In the four pieces also included in the recording, the way in which he serves the music with respect and love for the composer is very moving.A two-disc set that could be called a dialogue of the soul with the "Father of Music" that transcends time and space.
