No Neuro is the solo project of Kirk Markarian, an electronic musician from Arizona, USA. His latest work is a newcomer that has recently been re-launched. His latest work is now available on Germany's (also long-established) Mille Plateaux label, which has recently re-launched and is focusing not only on catalog reissues but also on releases by current artists. From the opening track, "This Time For Sure," the nostalgia and emotion of the album is in full swing. Even I Can See This Now," which is understated but oozes a sense of euphoria, is also irresistible.The pastoral and fantastical mood is reminiscent of Opiate and Isan in the early 2000s, but with the exception of the drone M(11) "Shared Disorientation," most of the songs are short (2 to 3 minutes) and as elusive as air, creating a perfect balance between emo, light, and abstract. The perfect balance of emo, lightness, and abstractness makes this work uniquely addictive.
