FRUM, a newcomer who emerged from the unexplored Nordic land of the Faroe Islands like a rising star, makes its album debut with an album full of melancholic, emotional, songful and authentic Nordic synth pop. FRUM is the solo project of Jenny Klagestijn, a singer/songwriter from the Faroe Islands in the North Atlantic, who has lived in Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, and is now based in Iceland. A newcomer who has been a hot topic in the Nordic scene since the early stages of her career, debuting in 2016 and winning the Newcomer of the Year award at the Faroe Islands Music Awards. She signed her first album with Hafen Music, which includes Trent Moller and others. The album features the soaring (1) "Awake," the majestic (2) "In This," the transparent (3) "Universe," the blissfully euphoric pop and house (5) "Run," and (7) "The Only Way," which combines a melancholic mood with languid songs on a slow, Reggaeton-tinged rhythm. The emotional dance number (8) "Tumbled" and the beautiful and magnificent (9) "Again And Again" are all worth listening to, especially the singles.The work creates an impressive world by painstakingly connecting various elements, such as Scandinavian sentiments, slow and fast, depth, cinematic mood, beautiful melodies, and shimmering lights.
