Originally started as a death metal band, they made their album debut in 1995 with "Orchid", followed by "Still Life" in 1999. The turning point came with their fifth album, "Blackwater Park".This album, an explosion of their progressive spirit, was produced under a contract with Music for Nations and with Stephen Wilson of Porcupine Tree as a producer.
