The songs have been selected so that listeners can concentrate on the killer tunes from among the many vocal songs on the album. Combined with the excellent guitar work that highlights his own vocals, this is truly a great album of songs. This vocal album is the fifth in the Free Ride Edition series supervised by music critic Masayoshi Kondo. Following the album "Lady Violetta / Katsutoshi Morizono" released as a Free Ride Edition last March 2020, comes the vocal best "Promise Me the Moon". This time, two albums, one instrumental and one vocal, will be released simultaneously, and this is one of them. Katsutoshi Morizono's work includes not only his outstanding guitar work, but also many moments when we feel this is a great vocal performance. This album is compiled so that you can listen to such songs intensively. I would like you to try listening to the first five songs in succession. You will be knocked out by his charm as a vocalist.His vocal works in the late 70s and 80s were mainly austere cover songs by Danny Coachmer, Ben Sidran, Wet Willie, Marc Almond, Brian Auger, Warren Givon, Donovan, and others. This work highlights Katsutoshi Morizono as a tasteful singer who is by no means a guitarist's chopstick rest.
