Cellist Nobuo Furukawa has just released the complete Bach Unaccompanied Cello Suites, also known as the Old Testament of the cello. Nobuo Furukawa has finally disclosed the Bach Unaccompanied Cello Suites, which have been a bible for cellists since time immemorial and the most important repertoire in the stamp of his talent. Now here he puts everything he has into this album, a milestone worthy of an album commemorating the 15th anniversary of his debut. ＜Nobuo Furukawa graduated from Toho Gakuen School of Music. In 1995, he won the second prize in the cello section of the 64th Japan Music Competition. 1996, he received a scholarship from the Yasuda Quality of Life Cultural Foundation to study at the Liszt Academy of Music in Hungary with Professor Csaba Onczy. 1997, he won the 27th In 1997, he won the Diploma Prize in the cello section of the 27th International Markku Neukirchen Competition in Germany, and after returning to Japan in 1998, he was appointed Principal Cello of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, where he has remained ever since. Encouragement Prize.As a soloist, he has performed with many national and international orchestras and renowned conductors, including the "Toyota Master Players, Vienna," a chamber orchestra led by the principal players of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Leningrad State Opera Orchestra on a national tour. In June 2010, she was invited to the subscription concert of the Szolnok Municipal Symphony Orchestra in Hungary, where she performed the cello concertos by Dvořák and Elgar with great enthusiasm, and also gave a recital at St. Mihály Church in Budapest, both to great acclaim. In addition to performing solo recitals and chamber music throughout Japan, she has been active in the Saito Kinen Orchestra and the Miyazaki International Music Festival, where she performs every year. She has also been actively collaborating with artists of other genres, and has been remarkably active not only in classical music, but also in pops, jazz, tango, and a wide range of other fields. He has been a part-time lecturer at Toho Gakuen School of Music since 2010.He has released seven solo albums and two best collections, including the live recording CD "FURUKAWA NOBUO@LIVE" released on January 30, 2010. In 2007, he formed the unit "KOBUDO-Kobudo" with Fujiwara Dozan (shakuhachi) and Seo Takeshi (piano). He has also composed theme music for TV programs such as "NEWS23" on TBS, music for TV dramas and commercials, and music for stage performances. On August 21, 2013, he released his fifth album "O T O T A B I - Oto Tabi-".
