The refreshing last album by Leslie Duncan, a leading figure in the UK singer/songwriter world. This is the world's first CD release. In addition to his session singer work with Alan Parsons, Elton John, Dusty Springfield, and others, Leslie Duncan was also active as a UK singer and songwriter with his hit "Love Song," which was covered by David Bowie. After this album, Leslie Duncan gracefully left the stage. The same producer/arranger and first husband, Jim Horowitz, as on her previous album, "Moon Bathing," created the pop-soul tone of "Thoughts Floating in the Void" more than any of her other works. The use of guitarist Richard Irwai, a familiar face in funk and soul groups such as Gonzales and Hummingbird, also stands out on the rhythmic "The Sky's On Fire" and "Ride On The Wind". The following year, Leslie Duncan remarried and lived quietly in a far-away suburb until her death in 2010. Before long, her music had become a legend that people continued to pursue even as time went on.
