Live recording album by the trio formation of Hiroko Takada (p), Tatsuhi Iwase (ds), and Yuta Komino (b) This trio started on April 7, 2013. Almost 10 years later, I was finally able to make it into an album. I have wanted to make a CD for many years, but this trio, every time we play live, the same song becomes something completely different, and I feel every time that today was the best day of my life. At some point, it seems impossible to decide to make a CD now. However, we decided that we could no longer afford to quibble and had no choice but to make a decision, so we set out on a two-day live recording session. As it turned out, Yuta Komino and Tatehito Iwase ran around in all directions and put their hearts and souls into the music. They both poured their energies into making the music I wrote into good music. Nothing could make me happier. I was also blessed with an audience that was looking forward to the recording. Another reason I was able to take the plunge was the presence of Mr. Gotoh, a brilliant engineer. Studio recording of this trio was not an option for me. I thought that a live recording would be too difficult, but someone with divine skills came along. After all, it was a live performance, so many things were happening.I hope you will enjoy the show. The live performance that followed was, again, what I thought might have been the best performance of the day so far. So please listen to them live again. (Hiroko Takada)
