Master Georges Prêtre's memorial recording, a recording that Prêtre gave permission before his death! Digital live recording of the 1995 Linz International Bruckner Festival by Prêtre and the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra! The "Romantic", which Praetor, who sadly passed away at the beginning of the New Year, had authorized before his death, is finally released. The live performance is the one in which he led the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra in Linz, the city where Bruckner was born and died. The Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra is well known as a Bruckner orchestra under the tutelage of Celibidacke. The recording was made by ORF Linz, which is well versed in the Bruckner sound. The sound quality is also very good. A dashing tempo is adopted, and the performance is aggressive, with lush singing and the addition of percussion instruments prominent. WEITBLICK has been presenting Praetor's latest great performances ahead of other companies, and this is the third Bruckner performance following No. 8 (SSS0096) and No. 7 (SSS0102). No. 5 is Schalk's revised version. It has been confirmed that the No. 5 is performed in Schalk's revised version. We will continue to discover this unique masterpiece in the future. Tobu Land System
