Description:
Master Tadashi Mori, who took the stage in place of Kazuo Yamada at a moment's notice! The first appearance of "The Planets" in repertoire + Mozart's racy, lively, masterful performances! Such an amazing performance was left behind! The master of opera and symphony, Tadashi Mori (1921~1987), gave a soulful performance of "The Planets"! According to Mr. Toshihide Katayama, who actually heard this concert, he came to enjoy Kazuo Yamada, but it was Tadashi Mori who appeared on stage! He said he was satisfied with the crisp and lively performance despite the sudden substitution. The unexpectedly great performance was thus bequeathed to the audience. The venue for the performance was the Shinjuku Bunka Center, but the sound quality of the recording is mellow. The solo horn concerto by Nagahisa Kasamatsu, one of Japan's leading horn players, who has served as principal of the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra for 38 years and is currently the contracted principal of the New Japan Philharmonic, was accompanied by a dignified soloist. Mr. Kasamatsu also participated in "The Planets" as a member of the orchestra. Mr. Kasamatsu commented, "'Planet' is wonderful. The concerto was recorded a long time ago, so you can feel the history of the concerto, but it's a live performance, so it might be more interesting. He also commented that "The Marriage of Figaro" is also very lively. The lively rhythm of "The Marriage of Figaro" was also very enjoyable. Thank God such a master exists in Japan! We can only be thankful for the existence of such a master in Japan. Tobu Shoji Co.
