The young maestro Kenjiro Sakairi, who is in the groove right now, performs "Mara 3" live! He never missed a major point: flow, intonation, intensity, etc. The finale, in particular, was incredibly beautiful and deep. I repeat, it was stupefyingly beautiful and moving. (Kwang-Jun Hsu)Music critic Kwang-Jun Hsu also praised the performance. Kenjiro Sakairi & Tokyo Juventus Philharmonic Orchestra, an up-and-coming duo known to those in the know! In Bruckner's Symphonies No. 5 (ALTL-005) and No. 8 (ALTL-006), which have already been released, they gave a youthful, fresh, good performance and surprised people with their big, leisurely performance as if they were maestros. This time, they took on Mahler's 3rd symphony, a huge symphony for orchestra and voices! They gave an overwhelming performance of this massive work, never missing a truly beautiful part of it. The orchestra's skill was impressive as well, as the intricate context was clearly delineated.The string song in the last movement is wonderful and moving! The program of vocal pieces was also skillful. The live performance of Brahms' "Ave Maria," reminiscent of the "German Requiem," and Wolff's colorful "Fairy Songs" are coupled together. This is a must-see! The commentary book with bilingual lyrics is also a plus. (1/2) King International
