Treasure Ark, a series of high-quality live recordings! From Wings' second tour, which took place during the recording of "Red Rose Speedway", the August 20, 1972 show in Amsterdam, Holland was recorded! From the Wings Over Europe Tour in 1972, a full-size recording of the August 20 show at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Holland, at the end of the tour. Wings started out with Paul, Linda, Denny Laine, and Denny Seawell, and released the album "Wild Life" under the Wings name in December 1971. When Henry McCraw joined the group on guitar to make it a five-piece, a small tour of colleges and universities followed in February of 1972. This was followed by the "Wings Over Europe Tour," which started in July of 1972 and lasted until the end of August, making about 25 stops, avoiding the UK and touring only in Europe, including Scandinavia.Since the Beatles stopped playing live in 1966, Paul must have played very little that could be called a regular concert, and during that time, the nature of the live show changed from the short 30-minute shows of the Beatles' era to longer ones. Furthermore, the band's original repertoire was still small and they stubbornly did not play Beatles songs, so the set list was filled with cover songs. That is why there are many rare songs from this period that are of interest to avid enthusiasts. After the Beatles, Paul was always heavily criticized by critics, but the chart action was not necessarily bad (although "Wild Life," which took Paul's name off the album, was a bit sluggish), and the audience reaction that can be heard on this recording shows that the response was quite enthusiastic somehow On the one hand, there are a lot of good recordings of the band. On the other hand, it is unfortunate that there are not many good quality recordings left, but they should convey the primitive charm that was unique to this period.
