Treasure Ark, a series that selects high-quality live recordings, has recorded a broadcast recording of the Müchen concert, in which many songs from the band's third album "Be Here Now" were performed. From the tour for the third album "Be Here Now" (1997), the concert in Munich, Germany on November 19, 1997 was recorded. Released at a time when expectations for the band were at an all-time high after the huge success of their previous album "(What's the Story) Morning Glory? It became a record. In the U.S., too, the album had a good initial run, with its first appearance at No. 2 on Billboard, but as many would later point out, sales were slow, perhaps due in part to the length of many of the songs. The tour started in Norway in September 1997, the month after the album was released. The tour was centered on Europe and North America, and went all the way to South America and Oceania, where the entire previous tour had been canceled.Although the number of scheduled shows was less than in previous tours, the scale of venues increased from clubs to halls and arenas, and for example, the Japan tour, which was held at Club Citta last time, became three days at the Budokan, showing that the band is steadily getting bigger and better. The sibling rivalry seemed to be as bad as ever, but this time, few cancellations of performances occurred, but the internal situation was quite hard due to drug use and various problems peculiar to a band in stardom. On the other hand, the band is known to have played well throughout the entire tour, and contrary to the album's reputation, the recordings of this tour are known to be very popular among the fans. This Munich show was performed around the middle of the tour, and the quality and passion of the performance is stable at a very high level.
