Andi Otto, a musician, producer, and cellist living in Hamburg, Germany, known for his solo works under the name Springintgut on City Centre Offices and his own label Pingipung, as well as for his collaborative works with F.S. The album is based on slow beats (90-110 bpm) and live instruments (mainly cello), which have been common in his past works, and many of the tracks are interspersed with various sounds sampled from field recordings made on street corners he encountered during his travels in India and from old records he found at local flea markets.
