Since his debut as a member of FANDANGO, Joe Lynn Turner has created masterpieces with RAINBOW, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, DEEP PURPLE, and many other bands and musicians. He is still very popular here in Japan, and this is a live recording of a show in Boston in 1985, during the tour for his debut solo album "Rescue You" released after RAINBOW broke up. Most of the songs are from "Rescue You," but the album also includes RAINBOW's signature songs "Stone Cold" and "Street Of Dreams," which are performed by the band members in their prime, and can be enjoyed in high sound quality. It is no exaggeration to say that this is a new must-have for Joe Lynn Turner freaks. Joe himself said of this work, "That night at the Boston Paradise was the best night of my life. I remember looking out over the crowd. There was a strange pillar. I think it was a pillar in the front. It wasn't directly in front of me, but it was big enough to block part of my view.But it was a real concert stage, and bands like AEROSMITH have played there. It was paradise. So I still remember when we actually played the set. It was exhilarating, and the crowd was crazy. This was our first tour. I don't know if we were the opening act for somebody at that venue, but if we were, it was a tough time for them. I don't know if they were opening for somebody at that venue or not, but if they were, it would have been a tough time for them because the crowd was going crazy and we were playing really hot. The whole band was just great, and everybody was playing with incredible energy and enthusiasm, and very precise.
