The first edition (CD+DVD) of "Kanami Araki IN CONCERT 2023," the 11th in the Takasaki Arts Theatre's "T-Shot Series" presented by Naoto Otomo, which introduces talented young oboe performers from various perspectives through recitals, recordings, and videos, was a great success. The first edition (CD+DVD) of "Kanami Araki IN CONCERT 2023" was sold out by popular demand. This disc is the CD version. Kanami Araki, who has been with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and is currently the principal oboe player of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, captivates listeners with her steady tone and vivid technique. Her soft and warm tone in the lower register as well as in the upper register brings out the best in a wide range of oboe repertoire from classical to contemporary pieces. Please enjoy the world of the oboe played by Kanami Araki. Kanami Araki (oboe) graduated from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music at the top of her class, and later completed a master's degree at the same university. While a student, she passed an audition at the age of 21 and served as the first chair of the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra until March 2023, and is currently the first oboe player of the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra.He has won numerous prizes in competitions, and at the 11th International Oboe Competition in Karuizawa, he was the first Japanese and Asian player ever to win the first prize (Ohga Prize), as well as the Audience Prize. He was also awarded the 27th Idemitsu Music Award. He was recognized for his performance by the great conductor H. Holliger when he conducted the orchestra, and in 2005, he performed with the oboe trio on tour, and has also performed with Maurice Burg and former Berliner Philharmoniker Schellenberger. She has performed concertos as soloist with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra and the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra. Her debut recital was at the Tokyo Spring Music Festival 2016, and since then she has given recitals at various venues including the B to C series organized by Tokyo Opera City. She has participated in the Takefu International Music Festival, premiered new works and other contemporary music performances, and recorded accompaniment for film dramas such as "Oni-no-Kiri no Kurage" and others. They have appeared in media programs such as "Ongame no Nai Ongakukai" and "Enter the Music. He is a core member of the up-and-coming ensemble group "EnsembleFOVE" and the "Japan National Orchestra" led by Kyohei Trita.
